I could barely sleep last night, the excitement just kept waking me up.
About an hour after I put the bandage on, I felt a slight itch. That's a good sign - it means they're working their way through my skin and into my blood stream. I felt almost elated as that itch started. But then, it faded and didn't really itch at all. I know that could be a result of all of the antihistamines I use - some people on certain medications have no itch at all. But still, I was a little concerned. The itch is proof that it's working!
The corner of my bandage started to peel up, so used an extra bandage to stick it down again. I went to bed at 11:30, but couldn't fall asleep for a long time.
At some point in the middle of the night, I woke up to feel some pretty intense itching on my arm. I patted my bandage and lay there, willing the worms to tunnel their way inside. In about an hour, I can take the bandage off. There is likely to be a decent little rash under there, but I can use any topical cream I want to treat it. I have plenty of those laying around.
In the meantime, I'm just going to sit here and get some twisted joy out of experiencing this itch.
